The Voice of CedegaAs part of our dedicated community involvement, we are changing how we interact with the Cedega community to provide information. We have always offered our forums as a way for Members of the Cedega community to interact with each other, share tips, and discuss anything they like. Years ago, we made the decision that, in order to promote free discussion, we would not moderate the forums (limit discussion). The Cedega forums would be used to post announcements and we would rely on other channels to communicate with our Members, such as the website (including Wulfie's Den) and our monthly newsletter. Recently, we have decided that our Cedega community could benefit from our contributions to the forums and many of our Members have asked us to take a more active role. We are listening and are now taking steps to fulfill your request. Throughout the month our lead Cedega Community Support Specialist, Angelo, will post feedback to the top support request and forum posts in the Announcements forum.

May Development ReportAs mentioned in an earlier development report, we've been continuing to work on MSI (Microsoft Installer) support. We now have Command & Conquer 3 installing properly, which has been the main impediment to being able to support this game under Cedega. There is some additional work to be done on the patcher, and that is in progress. The Steam and Orange Box installers largely work, although there is a remaining stability issue being tracked down. We have also been working on fixing the installers for games we currently support but which broke once we started advertising MSI support. In particular, Command & Conquer: Generals once again installs. Many games need to be able to time high speed events . . . &bull Read the entire Development Report to learn about everything going on under Cedega's hood. |
